I'm not trying to brag, but I'm pretty good at worrying. I can analyze a single conversation for years. I can picture any number of terrible accidents each time my son climbs on his bike. I've got worrying down. Yet even I refuse to fall prey to all the many issues parents are told to worry about.
Recently I guest posted over at Parent.co explaining my priorities for my young child and what I choose NOT to worry about. 5 Things Parents are Told to Worry About (But I Don’t) is all about choosing to focus my energy intentionally based on the values I hope to impart and the ways I try to support my child. Please head over to Parent.co and check it out, and if you like it consider commenting and sharing.
